How To Register Your Limited Liability Partnership Company
1. Obtain Designated Partner Identification Number (DPIN): Apply for DPIN online through the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) portal.
2. Obtain Digital Signature Certificate (DSC): Obtain a digital signature certificate from a certifying authority approved by the MCA.
3. Choose a Unique Name: Select a unique name for your LLP and check its availability using the MCA's name availability tool.
4. Prepare and File the Incorporation Documents: Prepare the LLP Agreement and file the incorporation documents, including Form LLP-1, on the MCA portal.
5. Pay Registration Fees and Stamp Duty: Calculate the registration fees based on the LLP's contribution and make the payment online. Also, pay the applicable stamp duty on the incorporation documents.
6. Obtain Certificate of Incorporation: Once the Registrar of Companies (RoC) verifies the documents, they will issue a Certificate of Incorporation, officially establishing your LLP.
7. Obtain LLP Identification Number (LLPIN): After receiving the Certificate of Incorporation, apply for LLPIN through the LLP portal.
8. Apply for PAN and TAN: Apply for Permanent Account Number (PAN) and Tax Deduction and Collection Account Number (TAN) from the respective authorities.
9. Open a Bank Account: Open a bank account in the name of your LLP and deposit the required capital.
10. Register for GST: If applicable, register for Goods and Services Tax (GST) with the GSTN portal.
