How To Register Your One Person Company.
1. Obtain Director Identification Number (DIN): Apply for DIN online through the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) portal.
2. Obtain Digital Signature Certificate (DSC): Obtain a digital signature certificate from a certifying authority approved by the MCA.
3. Choose a Unique Name: Select a unique name for your OPC and check its availability using the MCA's name availability tool.
4. Prepare and File the Incorporation Documents: Prepare the Memorandum of Association (MoA) and Articles of Association (AoA) for your OPC. File the incorporation documents, including Form SPICe (INC-32), on the MCA portal.
5. Pay Registration Fees and Stamp Duty: Calculate the registration fees based on your OPC's authorized capital and make the payment online. Also, pay the applicable stamp duty on the incorporation documents.
6. Obtain Certificate of Incorporation: After verifying the documents, the Registrar of Companies (RoC) will issue a Certificate of Incorporation, officially establishing your OPC.
7. Apply for PAN and TAN: Once you receive the Certificate of Incorporation, apply for Permanent Account Number (PAN) and Tax Deduction and Collection Account Number (TAN) from the respective authorities.
8. Open a Bank Account: Open a bank account in the name of your OPC and deposit the required capital.
9. Register for GST: If applicable, register for Goods and Services Tax (GST) with the GSTN portal.
